Does your daughter need a great leader and mentor? We have great leaders and we recognize them annually at the Edmonton Area Awards and Appreciation Dinner with awards for their terrific service. See under Recognition, then Adult Recognition to see those who were honoured for their volunteer work in May 2010. Volunteers? That's right; they aren't paid. They volunteer as leaders because they love working with girls.

Welcome... |

Welcome to Girl Guides in Edmonton Area. Guiding is a worldwide Movement for girls, led by women who are young at heart. It’s a place where girls and women can be themselves, have fun, make new friends and participate in new adventures. Guiding has long contributed to success among girls and women by providing opportunities for fun, friendship, adventures, personal and leadership development and community involvement.
Guiding empowers girls and women to face challenges with confidence. Through the program, girls learn to be independent and are empowered to reach their potential.
Divided into twelve districts, Edmonton Area includes the Edmonton metropolitan area as well as the surrounding communities of Sherwood Park, Ardrossan, Beaumont, Bruderheim, Camrose, Cooking Lake, Fort McMurray, Fort Saskatchewan, Killam, Lamont, Tofield and more. Are you interested in joining us? Click the JOIN US tab on the menu bar above to determine the District to which you'd belong and who to contact so you or your daughter can get involved and join the fun!
