Beginning June 1st, 2012, Girl Guides of Canada will now use online registration for girls new to Guiding. Go to www.girlguides.ca and use the “find a Unit” feature to see what Units are in your area and you can register directly from that site. If you have general inquires about Guiding in your area in or around the City, you can use our interactive map to get contact information. For over 100 years, girls and women have enjoyed the fun and friendship that is provided by joining Girl Guides of Canada-Guides du Canada. It has provided a way for girls of all ages to develop strong principles that guide them through their lives, enrich their experiences and give them the courage and confidence to meet and exceed any challenge. We offer girls a place where they can experience adventurous, activity-based programs where they can challenge themselves in a safe environment. Guiding provides an accepting and nurturing all-girl atmosphere where a girl can be herself. Adult members provide mentorship and act as role models, and show girls and young women that their potential is limitless. Guiding is a great way to have fun, meet new friends, build self-esteem, learn new skills, and help to make a positive impact in the world. Guiding also provides opportunities for scholarship and opportunities for international travel. And it's not just for girls--you don't have to be a mom to get involved in Guiding!
