Located on Pigeon Lake in the Summer Village of Silver Beach, 85 km southwest of Edmonton.

Residential Camping (buildings):

Poplar: accommodates 30 people
Spruce: accommodates 30 people
These two lodges have a common dividing movable wall which allows for a total accommodation of 60. Wheelchair accessible, natural gas heating, hot and cold running water, indoor washrooms and fireplaces. Each side has a modern kitchen with commercial gas stoves, dishwashers, microwaves, all cooking utensils and dishes. Both sides of the lodge have their own indoor toilet and sink facilities.

Redwood:
accommodates 26 people
Features renovated kitchen. Natural gas heating, hot and cold running water, dishwasher, cooking utensils and dishes.

Aspen House:
accommodates 8 people – 6 bunks and 2 folding beds
Natural gas heater, stove, fridge, cooking utensils, and dishes.

 *Washhouse: Flush toilets, sinks, showers and facilities for wheelchairs. The washhouse is used by Redwood, Aspen and all the tent sites.

 

Tenting Sites:

You must bring your own tent, tents are not provided. All tent sites are equipped with some cooking utensils; running water is available during the summer. Each cook shelter is now equipped with a fridge. Toilet, sinks & showers available in the *Washhouse.

Silver Birch:
accommodates 8 tents, has an adirondack, a cook shelter and electricity.

Wild Rose:
accommodates 6 tents, has a cook shelter and electricity.

Fir:
accommodates 8 tents, has an adirondack, a cook shelter and electricity. This site is back to back with Wild Rose and the two sites can be used as one large site.

Willow:
“No frills” camping is recommended for this site, has an adirondack, but no electricity or cook shelter.

 

General Notes: There is an outdoor chapel on site along the trail near Willow site. A cottage is available for general use by all campsites and includes a general storage area. Telephones are in all residential buildings.

Canoes are available for rent in the summer and snowshoes are available in the winter for rent at a nominal fee.

All residential facilities are smoke free and all forms of fireworks are strictly prohibited.
